Enduro Jacket

Description

The Enduro Jacket looks and feels as if it was taken off the backs of those hard-riding enduro racers of the '50s and '60s, but with a few fit and technical upgrades. The 12 oz 100% cotton waxed canvas from Halley Stevensons in Scotland sets it apart from the rest, offering excellent water and windproof characteristics.

Built to be the ultimate year-round jacket we updated this one to have a removable poly filled quilted insulating liner this jacket truly can carry the weight from Summer heat to Winter cold. Pair it with CE Level 2 insertable back armor along with CE Level 1 shoulder and elbow armor - the EU rating for protection. To combat those variable weather conditions, we inserted breathable REISSA fabric between the exterior and interior lining that creates a lightweight waterproof and windproof membrane.

We made sure that the finer details were not overlooked:like accents of a soft corduroy collar, wrist cuffs and front placket, a heavy Talon front zipper that closes it all up, followed by heavy duty snap buttons.

However, if you have any question on what size to order, please reach out to us before placing your order.

every jacket in The Moto Collection comes standard with insertable - and removable -D30® CE protection armor. that's an abbreviation for "Conformité Européenne," which is a European motorcycle safety standard. we use D3O® CE Level 2 and Level 1 insertable + removable armor in all the jackets. it's D3O's most advanced breathable protection available, so we thought it was best we really ante'd up this time.

Beautiful jacket

"Love the jacket, However the back pad did arrive in two pieces. I just reached out to the company about it. The jacket fits like a glove and looks great."

Exceeding expectations

"The quality is evident when opening the box and lifting the jacket. The heft catches you off guard. Once you put it on, you know that you've made the right purchase. I'm a new rider that wanted a quality jacket for the cooler weather. I used this jacket on a cold morning ride near the waterfront in Brooklyn on my Triumph Street Twin. The jacket withstood the biting winds coming ashore. The insulation underneath really did its job. I'm really happy with the purchase."

Great jacket

"I love the quality and look of this jacket"

Great piece

"I have been riding for years, and I have never had a jacket so good and comfortable while maintaining the full armor. Service is not easy in the holiday season, but they made their best to get it on time."

Retro Motorcycle Jacket

"A great looking and wearing motorcycle jacket. Old school looks and pockets with modern features like a zip out lining, zipper vents, and more. I usually wear a 2XL but 3XL in most I &R. It lets me layer underneath and ride comfortably. I love the whole moto line. I hope they continue to make the other models as all have sold out."

Enduro Jacket Perspective

"I'm a 6'1", 210 Lbs. , 44-46" chest size guy. I usually wear a large long or 44" long size jacket. I have found that the jackets I have bought so far from Iron & Resin run on the small size. This particular jacket I had to upsize to a 3XL to get a fit that wasn't tight across the shoulders or to tight in the arms. My suggestion is to upsize two sizes from whatever you usually wear. Other than that, the jacket is very well made and had many neat features. The one drawback I have with this jacket is the brass waist belt buckle and collar buckle. They are both very cheaply made stamped items and look like something you would find on a costume. I plan on having them replace with heavy duty buckles soon. A jacket made for the off-road should have sturdy buckles that are easy to secure and these aren't. On the cool side of the design is the unique padding and diamond quilt look of the shoulders and the insertable body armor. Very cool and a real attention getter. The jacket has nice large pockets and a zip-in, zip-out liner so it's real adaptable to weather changes. So, all that said, I give this jacket a thumbs-up for all it's swag. P. S. I would just like to add that being a veteran, I really appreciate Iron & Resins very generous discounts for vets and I love their incredibly courteous and helpful staff. You guys rock! Cheers!"

If there were ever a

"If there were ever a 21st Century update to my Dad's second hand Trialmaster, this would be it. A removable liner (with its own pockets! Who does that?!), armor throughout, four belt loops insead of the classic two (nice touch), venting zips (to account for waxed canvas being HOT), and other little thoughtful details that prove this is a riding jacket (and a damn good looking one) make me excited to load it up for a transcontinental trip at the end of the summer."

"Fantastic jacket. Not only does it look great, im very happy with the fit and quality as well."

Excellent Product

"Iron & Resin is the perfect place for very high quality riding jackets - and clothes, in general. I ride my motorcycle to and from work nearly everyday, in all kinds of weather. My commute is anywhere from 45 minutes to over an hour, depending on traffic conditions. I have been looking for high quality riding gear for a long time. Being very specific about the kind of riding gear I want to wear, the search has not always been an easy one. That is, until I found Iron & Resin. I bought their waxed canvas Mojave jacket about two years ago. It has the perfect blend of utility & style that I wanted. Being a school teacher, I have to be careful about the amount of money I spend on things, but felt confident that the quality would make the price worthwhile. I wasn't wrong. After 3 years, the Mojave jacket is still in fantastic shape, highly durable, and comfortable. The only trouble is that when the temp drops to about 45 degrees, it isn't warm enough. This is what led to the purchase of the Enduro jacket. Although it isn't road or weather tested yet, everything about it so far says that it's going to work out well once the temps drop below 40 degrees. As with the Mojave jacket, its durability and style is amazing, and considerably more comfortable out of the box than the Mojave was (it took awhile to break the Mojave in, which was to be expected). Both jackets look like they might've been worn by Steve McQueen, which is exactly the style I'm looking for. The only real drawback I hadn't anticipated about the waxed canvas (on the Mojave, anyway) is that it really isn't very water resistant, even with a coat of rain resistant spray. I'm hoping that that won't be the case with the Enduro. Time will tell."
