Based on the outline of our classic Journeyman Shirt, this iteration adds an even warmer more durable outer. Moleskin; a dense brushed cotton known for its durability and natural weather resistance. Also reinforced with double needle felled seams, this button down is appropriate attire getting lost in the brush, chopping wood or polishing off a few sodas at the bar by night, and looking stylish while doing it.

Wash & Care

Caring for Hand-Knit Cotton:

Cotton is more forgiving than wool but still benefits from gentle handling, especially in hand-knit form where the stitch structure is more open and delicate.

  • Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent, or use a machine’s delicate/hand-wash cycle in a mesh laundry bag.
  • Cotton can handle slightly warmer water than wool, but keep it under 40°C to preserve color and shape.
  • Lay flat to dry just as you would with wool. Cotton knits can stretch when hung wet.
  • A cool iron on the reverse side can refresh the fabric if needed — avoid ironing directly on textured stitches.

"I got this shirt as an unannounced gift in the wrong size. First of all, Iron & Resin customer service was so great figuring out an exchange. Now that I have the right size, I love this shirt so much. It stood up to some overly ambitious blackberry picking involving a janky ladder and overreaches. My denim covered legs got poked, my arms didn't. This shirt can get dirty, and then with a quick wipe down with a rag you can look like you drive a Rivian. This shirt is thick but soft, and I don't know if I've worn a shirt before where I'm constantly aware of how comfortable it is."
