HOW IT FITS

The Mojave Jacket has been built with a tailored fit. We highly recommend ordering your true size.  For example, someone here that is 5'11" + 160lbs wears a size medium in this jacket.  However, if you have any question on what size to order, please reach out to us.

Wash & Care

Caring for Hand-Knit Cotton:

Cotton is more forgiving than wool but still benefits from gentle handling, especially in hand-knit form where the stitch structure is more open and delicate.

  • Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent, or use a machine’s delicate/hand-wash cycle in a mesh laundry bag.
  • Cotton can handle slightly warmer water than wool, but keep it under 40°C to preserve color and shape.
  • Lay flat to dry just as you would with wool. Cotton knits can stretch when hung wet.
  • A cool iron on the reverse side can refresh the fabric if needed — avoid ironing directly on textured stitches.
Shipping & Returns

We offer FREE economy shipping on all contiguous U.S. orders $150+. We also provide 30-day FREE exchanges on all domestic online orders. Please read our returns policy on our FAQ page for more details.

Solid jacket

"Well constructed Bullitt proof, and just the right amount of style"

Love this jacket

"Super cool jacket. This is the third jacket I’ve bought from I&R since discovering their brand last summer. Extremely well made and timelessly cool aesthetic. I have no doubt that I will be wearing this jacket 15 years from now. I do recommend going up a size. Their sizing does tend to run small. I wear a large in almost everything but for all three jackets I’ve bought I’ve gone with the XL and they fit perfectly."

Great jacket!

"I am only giving 4 Stars as I haven't spent a lot of time wearing it. I put it on when it arrived and it was too small. I am usually a Large (5'11', 200lbs, 44" chest. The jacket was much too small. I could only wear a t-shirt with the jacket. I felt the arms were a little tight. I shipped the jacket back and I am waiting for a XL. Having said that, my first impression was this is a high quality jacket. It has a great look, the canvas is nicely wax and has a rugged look and feel to it. The jacket is quite heavy and substantial. I am looking forward to wearing this jacket for years to come. Hopefully I can do an update once I've spent some riding time with it."

Donald K. (4/5)

Burly AF

"Burly but not hefty. This jacket will remain in rotation for a very long time. I got it in black and couldn't be happier with it."

Eddie C. (5/5)

Built like tank

"Build quality is awesome! Feels like something that would last lifetime. Runs small though. I usually wear large. Had to exchange for XL"

Aleksey M. (5/5)

"Dig it, wear it nearly daily since putchase. Heavy, well built and with a hoody underneath can endure temps into the teens. There is quite a difference between sizes in my findings though. I own a large Cruiser jacket which is very fitted & purchased an XL in this jacket. The XL is has room to spare especially in the middle. 6’ - 185lbs"

Christian (5/5)

Incredible jacket!

"Looks great, breaks in nicely, pockets are thoughtful and useful. Get compliments on it every time I wear it out. I’m usually a medium in outerwear, but the large fits perfectly. I agree with other reviews that sizing up is the right move. Highly recommend, you won’t regret buying the Mojave!"

Scott G. (5/5)

I’ve been looking for a

"I’ve been looking for a good waxed canvas jacket with arm gussets for mobility without looking too, too much like I need to be riding a motorbike and without looking like everyone else’s jacket. Lots of little quality of life details, like hand warmer pockets, double zipper, inside pockets, … this jacket ticked all my boxes and then some."

Edward H. (5/5)

Heavy. Thick. Durable.

"This Mojave Jacket checks all the boxes for a great all-around piece. Ride your Moto. Hike in the woods. Wet a line at your local fishing spot. Sit by the fire with a glass of Bourbon. The Mojave Jacket DOES IT ALL!"

Nick H. (5/5)

A very well made jacket

"A very well made jacket that is both stylish and durable. I would recommend sizing up."

Q&A

Hi, I'm French, my all chest measurements is 101 cm and my all waist measurements is 93 cm. My tall 1m 80cm and my weight is 78 kg. Please what is the right size for me for this great Mojave jacket. Best regards. Eric
Great question, based off the information below I would recommend a size Large for you if you plan on doing some layering for those colder months. However if you prefer a more tailored and fitted look I would recommend a size Medium!
