Terre Neuve Jacket

$ 75.00 $ 250.00
Description

Taking notes from old expedition shells and the kind of outerwear built for real weather, the Terre Neuve Jacket is designed to keep you dry, warm, and moving no matter what the day throws at you. The waterproof exterior blocks out wind and rain, while the insulated body and sherpa lining hold heat when temperatures dip. The fit is clean and functional with dual chest zips, hidden hand pockets, and an adjustable hood for full coverage. The bright interior lining adds a hit of visibility on long days outside.

From winter storms to cold mornings on the road, this is the jacket you reach for when staying dry matters as much as staying warm.

Wash & Care

Caring for Hand-Knit Cotton:

Cotton is more forgiving than wool but still benefits from gentle handling, especially in hand-knit form where the stitch structure is more open and delicate.

  • Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent, or use a machine’s delicate/hand-wash cycle in a mesh laundry bag.
  • Cotton can handle slightly warmer water than wool, but keep it under 40°C to preserve color and shape.
  • Lay flat to dry just as you would with wool. Cotton knits can stretch when hung wet.
  • A cool iron on the reverse side can refresh the fabric if needed — avoid ironing directly on textured stitches.

"Phenomenal quality. You can never go wrong with Iron & Resin. Such a great company."

Great Casual Warm Jacket

"After a few go arounds in around 15 degree snowy and windy weather the warmth level was perfect. Runs a little small in the shoulders (I have wider shoulders), so I can't layer up too much but probably won't need to considering how warm it seems to be."

Perfect in every way

"Man this jacket is warm, comfortable, fits great, really waterproof, and it’s just a perfect winter jacket for cold and wet Pennsylvania winters. I owned a Relwen Channel Boarder jacket (black and insulated with orange on the inside - same style and everything) and it didn’t even come close to this jacket in warmth, how well it’s built, and that Relwen jacket wasn’t even water proof! This company is the real deal."

Very nice jacket! Just what

"Very nice jacket! Just what I was looking for. A quality winter jacket with a classic aesthetic. I appreciate Iron & Resin's overall quality and attention to detail in the previous products I've purchased. This jacket is no different. The cuffs, sherpa collar lining, leather bits, color of the interior and pocket choices are some examples. The peach nylon shell is nice too. It performs well without looking overly technical. I'm 6'0" and 170lbs and the Large fits well with some room for layering. Recently I was walking around outside on a 17 degree day with a light sweater on underneath and felt good. I'll add a down vest or other layers on colder days here in Minnesota. I prefer layering vs buying a giant puffy parka. Just my preference. It would be nice if the jacket had a drawstring or side adjusters at the bottom to tighten things up. But that's a minor point."
