"Great jacket. Seems well build and is really warm. I wore it outside tonight in Washington state in spring. The air was wet and cool and I had a fire going. I stayed perfectly warm. I like that the jacket has a heavy duty Talon zipper along with button snap. It is a very fitted jacket and it doesn’t leave a lot of room for layering underneath so I think that’s why everyone talks about sizing up. But honestly, if I sized up the shoulders would hang too far over. I think it’s just meant to be a more slim fitting jacket that isn’t used for layering necessarily. The collar is a really nice addition that you can pop up to give you some extra insulation. I really like all the pockets on the inside. They’re deep enough to hold an iPhone 7 with extra room. There’s also a small pocket inside that can be used to hold mattresses or a lighter or a pocket knife. I wish to leave for a little longer because when you ride a motorcycle, you need that little bit of extra length."

I cannot really sum up

"I cannot really sum up how happy I am with this jacket. I have been hunting for a while now for the perfect wax sherpa. Ordered and returned a Barbour and a Belstaff, scoured the web. Even just returned from Japan without success. When I saw this one it looked great but you never know. Well it is perfect. Looks great, amazing fit (I am a 42 chest and ordered a medium). The quality is clear too, very solid zip, great fabric. The hunt is over, I have found the jacket! Amazing delivery too, I’m in the UK and it arrived in a week. Constant updates from UPS too."

Love this jacket so far

"Love this jacket so far overall. Very warm and seems super durable. One aspect that doesn't seem perfect is the zipper which snags quite a bit. I'd say it's true to size but more on the snug size. I'm 5'11" and ordered a Medium, which works well but would be tough to add layers underneath."

Highly recommended

"Excellent, high-quality jacket for a reasonable price."

Excellent quality for the price

"I’ve been looking for a deck style jacket for a while but couldn’t bear to spend between 500-$1100 for one of the more well-known brands. Very happy with the quality of this one. It’s super heavy and thick with Sherpa lining throughout the body. I would say they run true to size but I’m from the EU and I know out here in the US it’s been common to wear oversized, looser-fitting clothes, so if you’re used to having a lot of spare room, I would size up. The build quality is good but I have had trouble getting the zip to connect properly, but hopefully that will smooth up. Also wished the pockets for fur-lined, but for the price I paid ($300) I am very happy with the jacket overall. Just want to mention that this is a canvas waxed jacket so if you’ve never seen one before, it’s normal to see some discoloration and scuff marks even when it’s brand new."

Best N1 Deck Jacket for the price.

"This is a super nice rendition of the 1944 N1 Deck jacket. This jacket is very warm with the Sherpa liner. Mine had an issue with one of the buttons not snapping together and staying snapped so I ended up returning it. While I had it, it kept me very warm and the gussets on the back of the jacket made it super comfy to move around in. The fact that this jacket was waxed canvas is awesome. I have moved onto the IHM37-BLK N1 deck jacket because this did not work out. I wished my current jacket was made of waxed canvas. This jacket kept me warm when it was 15 degrees outside and I love the 2 way zipper. Couldn’t find a better jacket for the price."

Talk About Rugged

"This Jacket is the definition of rugged! Can brave the harshest of elements!!! Incredible winter jacket."

Great Warm comfortable jacket

"This jacket is great. Warm and feels great. Highly recommend. Only issue is the the black jacket seems to collect lint like crazy but it is manageable with some l brushing."

Great jacket for the price.

"I love the looks of the N1 Deck jacket. I originally got the tanned one however, one of the buttons weren’t snapping closed so I end up having to return it. I was upset because I really love the style of this jacket and it was warm. Very warm. I ended up getting the IHM 37 black and it’s too warm for the winters in the DMV area. I wished that the IHM-37 was more like this jacket but I had no choice but to return. It’s a heavy jacket, waxed, and just perfect. I would have liked the jacket more if there was a throat latch to keep the collars up. Otherwise I am very happy with the jacket and the fit. Quality stuff I tell ya!"

Q&A

Does anyone have with the waxed nautilus and the cruiser jacket and can compare sizing/fit?
Hi there! Thanks for reaching out to Iron and Resin. Looking forward to helping you out. Great question, the fit is going to be very similar. The only major difference is the Waxed Nautilus is going to be sherpa lined, where the Cruiser Jacket is going to be flannel lined! If you have any further questions please feel free to reach back out!
