Caring for Hand-Knit Cotton:

Cotton is more forgiving than wool but still benefits from gentle handling, especially in hand-knit form where the stitch structure is more open and delicate.

"I bought this as liner in XL. In this context it's going to be a perfect layer going into autumn/fall & winter. Right now it's approx 26 C in the South of the UK so everything is warm. What I can say is how well cut and comfortable this jacket feels. It will pack small and already I have tested it with my corduroy Rambler, and 1st gen Nautilus ( and a few others in my collection) and as mid layer/liner it will be a very useful, adaptable, stylish addition to my 3 season UK wardrobe. I am a US Large ( European XL) but bought the XL which fits right so I personally recommend going up a size"

Fantastic light jacket

"Loved this jacket so much I bought another. First one I bought was an olive large, a little on the slim side, but not terrible, color looks great. Next one I bought was XL, perfect sizing this time, and the black is a good color. Only reason this isn't a 5 star is the lack of an inner pocket. Otherwise this is a fantastic light jacket."

"Replaced a Filson coat that fell apart faster than it should. The Shasta seemed better built. One thing I'd mention. It runs smaller than I thought. My Filson one was huge for a Large. This is small for an X-tra Large - buy accordingly."
