Centennial Jacket

Description

When we first started working with buffalo hide, we knew we were onto something special. It’s heavy, durable, and carries a natural grain that tells its own story with every wear. Over time, it softens, darkens, and breaks in beautifully — much like a well-aged whiskey.

For this season, we wanted to bring that same material into a classic western silhouette that feels both familiar and refined. The Centennial Jacket is our answer to that — a timeless piece built from rough-out buffalo suede and lined with warm sherpa fleece. It’s rugged on the outside, comfortable within, and ready for decades of use.

Wash & Care

Caring for Hand-Knit Cotton:

Cotton is more forgiving than wool but still benefits from gentle handling, especially in hand-knit form where the stitch structure is more open and delicate.

  • Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent, or use a machine’s delicate/hand-wash cycle in a mesh laundry bag.
  • Cotton can handle slightly warmer water than wool, but keep it under 40°C to preserve color and shape.
  • Lay flat to dry just as you would with wool. Cotton knits can stretch when hung wet.
  • A cool iron on the reverse side can refresh the fabric if needed — avoid ironing directly on textured stitches.

Awesome Jacket

"Let me start off by saying I have multiple I&R jackets. All of them are amazing, but this is my new go to jacket. I absolutely love the smell of it. Off the bat you can tell it’s top notch craftsmanship. The color is rich and vibrant. It’s on the ticker side perfect for the fall season. Can’t wait to order my next jacket from I&R."

Centennial Jacked

"Great Jacket might have benefited from a 3XL but it was sold out got the 2XL I normally wear an XL in jackets. I&R makes great high quality stuff but per usual order 1-2 sizes bigger than you normally would."

"Nice suede, sherpa lining, great value"

Great heavy jacket that looks

"Great heavy jacket that looks great that I had my eye on but was unsure what size to get. I ended up with a 2XL when I normally wear XL. The cut is fitted so it works for me with a t-shirt on underneath which is what I wanted. If I wanted to layer up then I would’ve went with the 3XL. Quality is great and it also has a few pockets on the inside that will be handy."

Damn! So nice

"I bought this for my 16 year old son for X-mas. He is always borrowing my InR jackets. Now he has one for his very own and now has the coolest jacket at Santa Barbara High. The cut is perfect. Not too long and a nice tailored fit. I may be borrowing from him!"

"Great quality! 5’10” and 155lb; a medium fit me well. Works wonderfully for everyday wear as well as more dressy occasions."
