Made in the USA from 10.5oz British Millerain waxed cotton canvas, our Rambler Jacket was the first cut-and-sew piece we ever created back in July 2013. It set the tone for everything we did from that point on. Quality materials. Built with a specific purpose. Made 1:1 with equal parts style and function.

It has all the fine details: accented with a soft corduroy collar, wrist cuffs and front placket, a heavy UCAN® zipper that closes it all up, followed by tough tack buttons with Iron & Resin branding. The same timeless trucker style fit we've always had since the start. With over 7+ years of continuous testing, this tried-and-true, rugged, jacket was built to meet the demands of life on the road.

    How It Fits

    Our Rambler Jacket is a trucker style fit and does fit true-to-size. We highly recommend ordering your current size in this jacket. We like to say, take one of your favorite jackets measure some of the core areas (hit our Size Guide ruler below) and compare for that exact fit. For sizing reference, our fit model is 6'2" + 160lbs and wears a size medium in the Rambler Jacket.

    we first introduced our waxed cotton rambler jacket back on july 25th, 2013. it was our first ever cut-and-sew piece that we officially developed as a brand. pretty damn exciting. and sure, anyone could buy an off-the-shelf outerwear piece, slap their name on it and call it a day, but would something like that meet the demands of our daily lifestyle?

    the answer is no. we needed something tailored to our daily deeds. developed for our lifestyle. ready for really anything. not too technical. but stylish. you know, the basics.

    "Awesome jacket! The fabric feels substantial but not overly heavy. Very well made to last a long time! Love the oil tan color! It’s not as light as in the pictures shown on the website so I’m glad I chose it over the darker color option. It runs slightly smaller in the waist than the Haley Stevenson scout jacket but is more roomy in the shoulders. I don’t know if to was meant to but as a bonus the inside seam for the waist pockets creates two large inside pockets that have the backside of the corduroy fabric lining so that’s a nice little touch. I live in the desert so I am looking forward to this unlined jacket being my go to for most of the cooler months for many years to come!"

    "The jacket is fantastic and the quality seems excellent. The only issue is that it arrived heavily coated with oil. I assume it’s some kind of treatment applied to the fabric, so I’m waiting for it to dry out a bit. I’ve already contacted the store, but I haven’t received a response yet, so I’m not sure whether I should simply wait or if it was an excessive application of the treatment and the jacket should be replaced. I’m still waiting for their reply. Other than that, the jacket is amazing."

    The Top Gun Of Jackets

    "Wow, got this as a birthday gift from my wife. Been wanting one for ages. It didn’t disappoint the cut, quality and finish is second to none. This is the Top gun of jackets. I love it, I’m 6”3 and a 46” chest and got the XXL I couldn’t ask for a better fit. Everything about it just ouzes style, originality and quality. I never get bored wearing it. Looks great with jeans or with smart trousers. I love mine. If you’re pondering on whether to get one, then don’t ponder anymore. I can assure you it’s by far the best jacket you’ll ever have. Plenty of pockets too. Two chest pockets on the outside one on either side and two inside pockets one on each side inside. The sleeve length is perfect for me. Just over the wrist and up to the start of your hand. The zip and button fastener at the front is great too. Honestly I can’t brag enough about this jacket. Have I said “ I love it?”"

    Breaking In The Rambler

    "Just got the Rambler in tan Small and enjoying breaking it in. I'm 5'6"/142 lbs. and it fits close and trim. My guess it will loosen up a bit over time. I also own a Scout for colder Chicago weather in Medium to allow for extra layering. Was concerned about lack of lining in the Rambler but not an issue and enjoying the lighter weight and better breathability for warmer weather. Worth the extra dollars for made in USA!"

    Hey, what size Rambler Jacket would work for me if I'm 5'10" w/ an athletic body type, fluctuate seasonally between 180 & 190 lbs., & usually wear stuff more on the slim/fitted side? Levi's mediums have always worked for me except in peak hipster-slim style years like 2017. Think a medium would work, or think II gotta size up? Thanks alot!
