Size Recommender
Not many items of clothing are as practical as a true western snap shirt. We made the Field Shirt from a sturdy 6.6oz cotton twill built to withstand a beating. We then bleached it and topped it off with embroidery of our custom California Poppies design to pay homage to the state we know, love, and call home.

HOW IT FITS
The Field Shirt is a tailored fit and leans a bit toward the slimmer side. We recommend ordering a size up if you like a roomier fit; so, if you wear a medium consider a large for a more relaxed fit. If you have any questions about the Field Shirt sizing, or need help deciding what size to order, please reach out to us directly.
Our goods are meant to be worn in, not out. With the correct care, we want our customers to be able to treat their gear with the tough love it was intended to take. Take a look at our Wash & Care Guide to keep your goods performing for a lifetime.

"Love Iron and Resin products! The quality, the materials and the feel! I've gotten many shirts fron I&R and loved everything I've gotten from here so much that I actually flown to Ventura, CA to go visit their flagship store in person ( ok, I did go to surf also...), but seriously love this store and it's products!!"
"My best friend has been looking at this for awhile and I was able to finally pick it up for him. He loves the material and colors, says it’s even better in person, and hopes to get the denim version too. Great shirt."
"I like this shirt. I ordered size XL based on reviews and the XL shirt fits my L sized frame very nicely. It will probably shrink a bit from washing and be "just right" for me. It is well made and has tasteful embroidery. Happy with my purchase, and with the sizing per reviews."
"As soon as i put it on i got a relaxed summer vibe, nice addition to the wardrobe. I'm 5'8, 160 lbs and got a medium, fits in the shoulders but baggy around the body, its very full, and long, i dont know if getting a small would be better. . . my shoulders may be too big. . ."
"The field shirt is a great looking western pearl snap. It’s well made, probably heavier than you expect, and feels like it can take a beating. I’m normally a large and I ordered this in a large and it fits fine. I wouldn’t order a size up unless you want to wear it as a light jacket."
"Love this shirt. I’ve never had a bad product from Iron and Resin."
"The shirt looks good but its so stiff it’s unwearable."
"Awesome Shirt. Love the quality. I sized up 1x, but not so sure I needed to. I'm usually an XL. I love the cloth cotton, it has good weight."
"When someone steals your favorite shirt, you buy it when it’s re released 3 years later. Or at least I did."
"This shirt has become my go to for those in office days where my other denim shirts just don’t fit with the crew."
Forged in Ventura, CA in a mass produced, disposable world, Iron & Resin is a product of "one-off" culture. Where men still build, by their own hands, the craft they ride, be it water or land.
