Description

If we were to be stuck in the cold of the desert night, this is the winter weather jacket we'd want on our backs.  One of our heaviest hitters for the Fall + Winter Season, the Lincoln Jacket is a key outerwear piece in our Shelter Series.  The Lincoln Jacket has a dry wax finish that ages just like leather - making it both waterproof and windproof. And with a sheepskin shearling shawl collar, sherpa fleece lining over a Thermacore® mid insulating layer, you'll be snug as a bug in a rug. This is the jacket you'll be passing down to your grandkids one day.

HOW IT FITS

The Lincoln Jacket has a standard fit.  Please note, it does have a ranch/chore coat cut so it runs a lot longer in length (when compared to the standard jacket length).  We highly recommend ordering your true size.  However, if you have any question on what size to order, please reach out to us.

Wash & Care

Caring for Hand-Knit Cotton:

Cotton is more forgiving than wool but still benefits from gentle handling, especially in hand-knit form where the stitch structure is more open and delicate.

  • Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent, or use a machine’s delicate/hand-wash cycle in a mesh laundry bag.
  • Cotton can handle slightly warmer water than wool, but keep it under 40°C to preserve color and shape.
  • Lay flat to dry just as you would with wool. Cotton knits can stretch when hung wet.
  • A cool iron on the reverse side can refresh the fabric if needed — avoid ironing directly on textured stitches.

"Chaqueta de gran calidad. . Pedir una talla más de la uses normalmente. Yo mido 1,80 y peso. 85 kg y la talla XL me queda perfecta para poder. Usar con otra capa debajo"

Don't sleep on this one. . .

"Worth adding to you're line-up for the Fall and Winter. Timeless classic"

Quality Coat

"Great coat quality material and very well made. Exceptional warmth especially for long work days in the Appalachia. The arms are a little snug and would probably be too snug to wear a hoodie under, but it's warm enough on its own that it's not necessary to layer heavily."

Christopher D. (5/5)

"Fits a little close around the shoulders. If you're a bigger dude, size up, especially if you're looking to wear layers. Super comfortable, once you break it in. Quality-wise, i'm pleased. I would definitely recommend this jacket."

Khaliq (5/5)

"Great! Thank you!"

Beautiful coat but sizing is TINY

"The coat itself is beautiful. Gorgeous even! Well made, high quality and made to last. I had ordered the XL last year and returned it because it was too tight. I was thrilled that the XXL was available again this year but alas, it’s WAY too small. Like 2 sizes too small! All my other coats are XL and fit perfectly. There’s something completely off about the sizing of this jacket. With just a tshirt underneath, I can barely close the front. I’m 6’2” and 230lbs and fit size 46 jackets. I fit off the rack XL in everything also buy with lost of room. Very disappointing!"

Dag (2/5)

Great jacket. I am 6'3

"Great jacket. I am 6'3 190 and a size large fits perfectly. With the wax material, seems like there will be petnina, but really solidly built. Fantastic quality!"

Brandon M. (5/5)

Great jacket great service

"Got this jacket for a Christmas present. Had some issues but the folks at Iron & Resin really helped out. Nice jacket great looking, love shopping from this company and will continue to shop online and in the store any chance I get."

Julian G. (5/5)

Awesome Coat!

"This is a very heavyweight coat with an outside material that is tough like that of a fire hose. The sherpa material is very thick and high quality as well. Sizing is definitely a slim fit as I am between a medium and large and the large fits snug."
